Fellowship

Ministries
As a congregation, St. Paul's Lutheran Church believes fellowship is a way of building up the Body of Christ in the way that we live together -- through acts of service, meals, conversations, and prayer with fellow Christians.  This relational ministry with one another is an important element to help us continue growing in our walk with Christ.  (Philippians 2:1-18; Acts 2:42-47)

Youth Group:  Our junior- and senior-high school youth group, Christians In Action, is a group that gathers together every other Sunday at 6pm to enjoy one another's company in Christ!  Check the Church Calendar for our next gathering times, or look us up on FaceBook @ChristiansInActionSPLC

Monthly Potluck Lunch:  Every third Sunday of the month, our congregation gathers around a traditional Lutheran potluck.  Sometimes we put together a theme, like February's chili cookoff, where the local fire and rescue teams volunteer to judge the entrants!

Oktoberfest: Plan and/or assist in organizing activities, arrange for food, set-up and/or cleanup for this annual event

"Christian Karaoke":  On the third Sunday of each month, we meet with the residents at Windsor Place Assisted Living and play classic Gospel songs, gather for prayer, and discuss what God is doing in our lives

Annual Thanksgiving Meal:  Assist with the menu, arrange for food preparation, setup, decorating, serving, and/or cleanup for the dinner

Hospitality Brigade:  Join our helpers of joy who schedule, plan, and arrange our monthly congregational fellowship opportunities

College Outreach:  In an effort to better connect with members in college and away from home, volunteers send messages of encouragement to students throughout the year, reminding them that we care and their Savior is with them always.  Future opportunities also exist to connect with local college students away from their own church homes

New Member Welcome:  Help plan and/or assist in organizing welcome events for new members who have completed our new member class.  These events encourage new members to connect, and invites them to engage in various ministries and programs at the church and in the community
